Introduction:

Magar tribes have settled in different part of the world.Having total area of 1,47,181sq. km and population of 2,64,11,500 pepole of Nepal.According to the forefathers Magar population is 40% of the total Nepalese population.Because of the political cause Magar have lost their own languge, religion ,script, culture and even their own state.They are in confusion. They are backward in education and even in every governmental works.

                          Originally Magars used to worship natural entities such as the land, water, wind, fire and ancestors. Now-a-days Magar have been converted into Budddhism, Hinduism, christianty and Muslim religions. The tongue of magar spoken in Nepal are in three catagories.Namely a) 18 magarat, b) 12 magarat, c) Kaike or Trali. According to American Dr. David water, the way of life of magar is similer to the one of Siberien people.
